How do I create a parent portal?

Parent Portals allow parents to actively participate in their child's schooling through an online PowerSchool portal showing grades, assignments and more. Below are steps to help you navigate through the setup process. Before starting, parents will need an Access ID and Access password.

If you need assistance with creating an account or changing the settings, please contact your building front office or Technology & Media Services through the online contact forms located in the Staff Directory at www.elps.us.

Technology & Media Services will also be available in the East Lansing High School Commons Lab during building conference dates to assist parents in creating and managing their PowerSchool parent portal accounts.
