ELHS Celebrates Homecoming Week September 14–19
Homecoming Week is underway at East Lansing High School! This year’s theme, “Around the World,” brings a full week of spirit activities and celebrations for ELHS students from September 14–19.
Throughout the week, students can participate in themed dress-up days, trivia, schoolwide activities and other opportunities to show their Trojan spirit. Homecoming festivities continue Friday, September 18, with the pep assembly, Homecoming Parade and varsity football game against Grand Ledge at 7 p.m.
The week concludes with the “Around the World” Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 19, from 7–10 p.m. in the ELHS Student Union.

East Lansing Public Schools is now accepting Schools of Choice applications for the 2026-27 school year. The application window opens today, Monday, June 1 at 8:00 a.m. and closes on June 15 at 4:00 p.m. Families interested in applying can access the application and Verification and Release of Information form through the Online Enrollment page on the ELPS website, or by clicking the application link below. Free summer meals are available for children this summer through the Meet Up and Eat Up Program at Red Cedar Elementary School, located at 1110 Narcissus Drive, East Lansing, MI 48823. Breakfast will be available Monday–Thursday from 9:00–9:30 a.m. Lunch will be available Monday–Thursday from 12:15–1:00 p.m. The program runs June 9–June 30, 2026. Together with our partners at UM Health-Sparrow, we opened the doors to the ELPS Health Center - bringing accessible, high-quality care to students and community members right inside East Lansing High School.
