McKinney-Vento Affidavit of Temporary Housing

If your family is experiencing housing instability, your child may qualify for additional educational supports and services through the federal McKinney-Vento Act.

You may be eligible if you are currently:

Staying with friends or relatives because of financial hardship or loss of housing
Living in a motel, hotel, campground, or shelter
Living in temporary, transitional, or emergency housing
Living in a vehicle, park, public space, or other place not intended for housing
Moving frequently because you do not have a permanent residence

Completing the McKinney-Vento Housing Questionnaire helps the district determine whether your student qualifies for services such as transportation assistance, school stability support, access to educational resources, and other available programs.
