Optional Classroom Supplies:

One box of Crayola markers (classic colors)
One box of beginner pencils
One variety pack of construction paper
One pack of Dry Erase Markers
One pack of Play Dough
One container of Clorox wipes
One box of tissue
One bottle of hand sanitizer
One box of gallon Ziplock bags with sliders
One box of quart Ziplock bags with sliders

Please label the following personal items with your student's name:

Backpack (no wheels please)
Running/Tennis shoes for PE to stay in locker
One COMPLETE change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear, and socks) in Ziploc bag to stay in locker
One set of headphones in a Ziploc bag (label both headphones and bag)

1st Grade Optional Supply List

Please note that this supply list is optional. All students will be provided with the materials necessary to participate fully in the curriculum.

8 Elmer’s glue sticks
2 bottles of Elmer’s glue
8 packs of 24 count Crayola crayons
2 packs of Crayola Colors of the World Crayons 24ct or 32ct
2 boxes of Ziploc or Meijer brand quart size bags (48ct or 75ct)( please no slider bags)
2 boxes of Ziploc or Meijer brand gallon size bags (38ct or 75ct) ( please no slider bags)
2 containers of Clorox wipes
1 container of hand sanitizer with pump
4 boxes of Kleenex
10 containers of playdough in various colors
2-4 packs of 20ct or 30ct Band-Aids (various skin tones and designs are needed)
2 packs of Pre-Sharpened #2 Pencils

Please label the following personal items with your student's name:

1 full change of clothes
1 pair of shoes for gym
2 reusable shopping bags to be stored at school for bringing home projects
1 set of headphones in gallon bag
1 water bottle with student’s first and last name written with permanent marker

Additional Items for the Classroom

The following is a list of items that we will use throughout the school year. Please consider purchasing or donating towards the purchase of the following items:

Packs of underwear in the event that a student has an accident
Sweatpants in various sizes in the event that a student has an accident
Reusable Meijer bags
Painter’s Tape or .5lb Command Strips to display student work
2lb bags of Kinetic Sand (unscented)
Board Games for Indoor Recess (Monopoly, Connect Four, Jenga, Mancala)

3rd Grade Optional Supply List

Recommended List of School Supplies

All third grade students at Donley will use the following school supplies. Please note this list of supplies is recommended, but not required to be purchased. Students will be provided the materials needed for the curriculum. These materials are donations for all students in the classroom. We have found that Target, Meijer, and Wal-Mart are comparable in price.

Please note that we have listed specific brands for most items. We listed brands that we have found to be the most successful with students, who don’t always gently use supplies.

24 – Ticonderoga #2 Sharpened Pencils
3 boxes of Kleenex
4 Black Expo Dry-Erase markers (thick) 1 pack of pencil top erasers
1 small bottle of hand sanitizer
1 small pack of yellow sticky notes
1 small box of sandwich size Ziploc bags

These are supplies that your child will keep in their cubby and use themselves, so you are more than welcome to keep them separate.

1 Manual handheld pencil sharpener with lid 1 – 12 ct. Twistable Crayola colored pencils 1 – 10-pack of Thin Crayola markers
3 Composition Books (NOT spiral bound)
1 set of headphones (put into a plastic bag)
1 backpack (You can buy your student any backpack they would like, as long as it doesn’t have wheels. We’ve found that backpacks with wheels don’t fit in our lockers)

You are more than welcome to buy a pencil case, box, or pouch for personal supplies. We will try to accommodate student supplies, however some things may end up being stored in lockers. Thanks for your help and willingness to make sure that your child is prepared for third grade!

4th Grade Optional Supply List

We cannot wait to meet all of the incoming 4th grade students! Here is a list of supplies that would help your child be successful this upcoming school year.
