Free summer meals are available for children this summer through the Meet Up and Eat Up Program at Red Cedar Elementary School, located at 1110 Narcissus Drive, East Lansing, MI 48823. Breakfast will be available Monday–Thursday from 9:00–9:30 a.m. Lunch will be available Monday–Thursday from 12:30–1:00 p.m. The program runs June 9–June 30, 2026. Fifth grade families can now view the MacDonald Middle School Incoming 6th Grade presentation, which shares helpful information about schedules, student supports, electives, and extracurricular opportunities available to students next year.
Important upcoming dates include 5th grade visits to MacDonald on March 16 and 18, and elective registration forms being sent to families on March 19 (due March 26).
