Free Summer Food Program 2026

Free summer meals are available for children this summer through the Meet Up and Eat Up Program at Red Cedar Elementary School, located at 1110 Narcissus Drive, East Lansing, MI 48823. Breakfast will be available Monday–Thursday from 9:00–9:30 a.m. Lunch will be available Monday–Thursday from 12:30–1:00 p.m. The program runs June 9–June 30, 2026. Please note: Meals will not be served on Monday, June 8 or Friday, June 19. https://www.mcgi.state.mi.us/schoolnutrition/

To file a program discrimination complaint, a complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, which can be obtained online, at https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992 or by writing a letter addressed to the USDA.  The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.  The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:

Incoming 6th Grade Information for Families

Fifth grade families can now view the MacDonald Middle School Incoming 6th Grade presentation, which shares helpful information about schedules, student supports, electives, and extracurricular opportunities available to students next year.

Important upcoming dates include 5th grade visits to MacDonald on March 16 and 18, and elective registration forms being sent to families on March 19 (due March 26).
