Dear Robert L. Green Elementary Families,

Power has been restored at Robert L. Green Elementary, and we will resume a normal school day today, Friday, January 9, 2026. We owe an apology for the delay in our messaging this morning. The email notifications we believed had been sent earlier were not functioning as expected, which prevented this message from reaching families in a timely manner. We apologize for this delay and for any confusion or inconvenience it may have caused. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we worked to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Due to unsafe road conditions, all after-school and evening activities are canceled for Wednesday, December 10. With temperatures dropping and wind picking up, we encourage everyone—especially our young drivers—to please stay home if possible and stay safe.

A new chapter begins for our East Lansing family.  

Together with our partners at UM Health-Sparrow, we opened the doors to the ELPS Health Center - bringing accessible, high-quality care to students and community members right inside East Lansing High School. 

Because when our students are healthy, supported, and cared for, they’re ready to engage, learn, and grow.
